 Family Insurance Solutions Inc. was
born in 1989 from the entrepreneurial spirit of Harbord
Insurance of Victoria, British Columbia. The founders of
Family Insurance Solutions had a dream to create an insurance company
with the most advanced automated policy delivery system in
the business and to offer the best coverage available. The
automated Point of Sale system developed was quickly
recognized as one of the most sophisticated systems anywhere
and was considered years ahead of its time. With this new
distribution system and innovative policy features, Family
Insurance soon grew to become a significant presence in the
B.C. personal insurance market.
In 1999, Family Insurance Solutions joined the
Economical Mutual Insurance Company of Waterloo, Ontario.
With the stability and guidance of one of Canada's oldest
and largest insurance companies, Family Insurance Solutions has become
a leading distributor of personal insurance in British
Columbia.
